Monday minimal madness

Yesterday I had an audition and when I showed up there it was super unorganized and tons of people there. Everyone had different times and instructions and it was a hot mess. After treating myself to Mamouns falafel on St. Marks I came back for the call back and it was still a hot mess. I decided not to go. This is something I would have felt guilty about a while ago but I left without feeling bad at all. Could I have missed out on a possible job? Sure. Was it worth my frustration, stress and time? Nope. If I was passionate about the project I would have stayed, obviously. But all the signs were telling me not to. So I walked away, over dosed on jeans shorts and jackets in an amazing thrift shop, had my first ice cream of the year in the beautiful weather followed by a salad in Madison square park before heading to acting class. I love Mondays.
